Terms of Service

GrowTales combines cloud software (REST API, database, story generation and audio storage) with firmware on hardware such as ESP32, NFC readers, LED feedback, and speaker playback. Children place NFC-tagged figures; the board sends identifiers to the server; the server returns or generates a story and audio per device and operator settings.

By creating an account, using the panel, QR setup, or otherwise using the service, you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

Roles (e.g. superadmin, editor, curator, viewer) grant different permissions. You are responsible for credential confidentiality and actions under your account. GrowTales may suspend access for breach or risk to the platform.

Each board is identified in the system. Dynamic AI/voice generation may consume credits assigned to the device. Without credits or with server-side dynamic generation disabled, only pre-approved content may be returned or no story may be available, per published logic.

Access to story generation is sold as a subscription, in the monthly or annual plan published on the pricing page. Payment is processed through Stripe and amounts are shown with applicable taxes before you confirm.

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period — monthly or yearly, depending on the plan — for the same amount, until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, at no extra cost, and the service stays available until then. The current period is not prorated.

If a charge fails, the service may be suspended until payment is settled. Unused generation credits do not roll over between periods unless stated otherwise.

Any price change will be announced by email at least thirty days in advance and will apply from the following renewal. If you do not accept it, you can cancel before that date without penalty.

Right of withdrawal: if you contract as a consumer, you have fourteen calendar days to withdraw without giving a reason, under Spanish consumer protection law. Writing to the contact address is enough to exercise it.

Loss of the right of withdrawal: because this is digital content supplied immediately, if you ask to start using the service within those fourteen days and expressly acknowledge this when subscribing, you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been performed. If you do not ask, the full period applies.

The device, once sold, is covered by the three-year legal guarantee of conformity for goods and by its own fourteen-day right of withdrawal from delivery.

Operators and authorised users may create, review, approve, or reject stories. Auto-generated text and audio belong to the GrowTales ecosystem per business settings and licences. You must not use the service for unlawful content or third-party rights violations.

No unauthorised access, abuse, malicious reverse engineering, or use that harms the platform or others. Rate limits apply on public and auth routes.

The service is provided “as is”. GrowTales does not guarantee specific story outcomes or error-free AI. To the extent permitted by law, indirect or consequential damages are excluded except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

We may update these terms; the effective date is shown at the top. Continued use may constitute acceptance. Spanish law and, where applicable, EU consumer law apply.
